"Each day is a blessing and it is our desire to bless and encourage other families living with SCD."
I met my wife Stephanie in 2010 and we married in March of the following year. Through our time together we have weathered many health battles with SCD. My wife Stephanie was born with sickle cell disease which she inherited from her parents both of whom had the sickle cell trait. When first diagnosed, her life expectancy (according to her physician at the time) was only 18 years of age. With an enlarged liver and a slightly enlarged heart, the diagnosis would seem to make sense in the natural. And if this wasn't enough, my wife also struggled with having basic day to day necessities as a result of an absentee father and a drug addicted mother. Not a good combination when you have SCD. Yet, through the prayers of a loving grandmother and the goodness and mercy of an all-powerful living God, my wife has endured. She has lived three-and-a-half decades longer than expected and has survived more unfortunate life experiences than most. Although the journey continues, we have been blessed to stand through several severe sickle cell crises. God has delivered us through them all. We still have our challenges but God has shown Himself strong on our behalf. It has truly been a "miracle journey." Each day is a blessing and it is our desire to bless and encourage other families living with SCD. There are hundreds of thousands of families who have similar stories and testimonies. With our music, His message and your support, we endeavor to bring awareness, support and encouragement to those families struggling with sickle cell disease. When you purchase our music, you help us promote the timeless message of the gospel as well as support the fight against sickle cell disease. Thank you for your prayers and also for partnering with us as we make this "miracle journey" together. The music still plays and the journey continues. Blessings to you all.
